World Refugee Day

MKCDF always join other organizations in Akwa Ibom state to celebrate the World refugee day every 20th of June. All organizations that work on behalf of refugees come together and observe this day paying attention of the theme of the year. Refugee Day. This day is celebrated to honour the strength, courage, and resilience of millions of refugees worldwide who have been forced to flee their homes due to conflict, persecution, or natural disasters. It aims to raise awareness about the plight of refugees, highlight their contributions to host communities, and advocate for their rights and well-being. The day also serves as a call to action for individuals, governments, and organizations to provide support and find durable solutions to the global refugee crisis.
